The FX’s TV show POSE is a drama filmed show about queers and transgenders in the Black and Latino ball culture scene in the 1980s. They base it around housemothers in the New York ball scene, teaching their ball scene kids how to vogue and POSE!. The show also discusses HIV amongst the LGBT community. The award-winning show POSE is returning this fall in October.
They stopped production on season 3 in March, because of the coronavirus outbreak in New York City and also throughout the nation. POSE has the largest LGBT cast of a scripted series. POSE Stars MJ Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Billy Porter, Angel Curiel, Angelica Ross, Dyllon Burnside, Ryan Jamal Swain and Dominique Jackson. Furthermore, transgender rights activist Janet Mock is a director and writer on the show.
